The Transport Workers’ Unemployment Fund will merge with Open Unemployment Fund, A-kassa as of 1 January 2023. The information regarding Transport Workers’ Unemployment Fund’s members‘ allowance informaton and the membership register information will be transferred to the Open Unemployment Fund’s information system during the last two weeks of December.

The transfer of information causes interruption in the Netta Online service, which is why the service will be closed as of 20 December. The next time you can apply for daily allowance is through the A-kassa eService on 2 January 2023. During the interruption applications cannot be processed and daily allowances are not paid.

Daily allowance applications from a member who is completely unemployed or laid off can apply for daily allowance at the latest on 19.12.2022 from The Transport Workers’ Unemployment Fund. These applications may be processed, and daily allowance be paid out before Christmas, if the unemployment fund has all the necessary information to process the applications. The Transport Workers Unemployment Fund’s telephone service is open until 23 December 2022.

The Open Unemployment Fund’s operations start on Monday 2 January 2023. From this date, members can submit daily allowance applications and attachments to the fund via The Open Unemployment Fund’s online service and contact the fund by phone.
